Crochet Tomato Pincushion: A Cute Beginner-Friendly Project 🍅
There’s something about a little handmade tomato pincushion that feels so wonderfully old-fashioned. Maybe it’s because they’re such a familiar sight in sewing rooms, or maybe it’s simply because a tiny tomato made from yarn is ridiculously cute.
This crochet tomato pincushion is a very simple project, and you don't need to be an experienced crocheter to make one.
In fact, the main part of the tomato starts with something surprisingly simple: a crochet rectangle.
Once the rectangle is finished, we turn it into the little tomato shape, add some stuffing, and finish it with a few crocheted leaves.
And that's what I love about small handmade projects like this — they can look much more complicated than they actually are.
It would make such a sweet addition to a sewing room, especially if you already enjoy making your own sewing tools and accessories.
